How We Trek & Support
The Art of Desert Living. We carry the weight, so you can walk the silence.
Walk Light.
We Handle The Rest.
Wadi Rum is vast and unforgiving. To explore it properly, you need support. We do not offer simple "backpacking" trips where you struggle under heavy loads. We offer Supported Trekking Expeditions.
This means you carry only a small daypack (20-30L) containing your water bottle, camera, and sunscreen. Our dedicated logistical team—driving 4x4 vehicles—moves parallel to your route. They carry the mattresses, food, water, and heavy luggage, setting up lunch stations and evening camps before you even arrive.
A Day on the Trail
Sunrise & Fire
Waking up to the smell of fresh woodfire coffee and 'Arbood' bread being baked in the sand.
Hot Lunch & Siesta
Fresh salads are chopped, and a hot stew (Galayah) is cooked. Followed by a mandatory rest in the shade.
Camp Setup
Arriving at the secluded Bivouac spot. Mattresses are laid out, fire is started, and sunset is watched in silence.
Zarb Dinner
Traditional underground oven cooking. A feast to replenish energy under the Milky Way.
Fresh. Hot. Authentic.
Bedouin Breakfast
Fire-baked bread (Arbood), boiled eggs, zaatar, olive oil, jams, halawa, and sweet tea.
The Lunch Ritual
"Galayah" (tomato and meat/veg stew) cooked fresh on fire, Warm Foul with olive oil, Fresh Tuna salads chopped on-site.
Zarb Dinner
Chicken Zarb (earth oven) or hearty pot stews with rice. Served buffet style around the campfire.
The Billion Star Hotel
We specialize in "Bivouac" camping. This means sleeping in the open air, away from fixed campsites. Pure silence.
Sleeping Kit
We provide thick, high-density foam mattresses and heavy winter blankets. You will be warm.
