Stay in Traditional Goat-Hair Tents

Our camp features a mix of 2-person and 5-person tents, built in the traditional goat-hair cabin style. These tents are arranged in a wide half-moon shape to provide privacy. Inside, you'll find wooden floors covered with carpets, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Each tent is equipped with lighting, single beds, a table, hooks, and a trash can. The 2-person tents have two windows for ventilation, while the 5-person tents have three.

We prioritize comfort with cozy bedding, including pillows, linens, and thick blankets to keep you warm during chilly desert nights.

Private Tents for Your Comfort

We focus on your privacy and comfort. When booking, you can select your preferred tent. If the specific type you request is available, we will assign it to you. Otherwise, we will offer an alternative option. Solo travelers will have a private 2-person tent. Groups of three will be assigned two 2-person tents or one 5-person tent. Families with young children will be given priority for the 5-person tents, and baby beds are available upon request. We do not offer dormitory-style tents, ensuring privacy for all our guests.

Sleeping Outdoors Near Our Camp

For those seeking a unique experience, we offer the chance to sleep under the stars, just a short walk from our camp. We have four secluded spots where you can enjoy the vastness of the desert, the billions of stars above, and stunning views of the valley at sunrise. This experience, similar to our 'bivouac camping' location, offers a true connection with nature.

We will provide all the necessary sleeping gear, including a mattress, sleeping bag, and liner. However, pillows are not provided for this outdoor option. Sleeping outdoors near our camp allows you to experience the desert adventure while still having access to the camp's comforts.

The Facilities of Our Bedouin Camp

Our Bedouin camp blends traditional desert living with thoughtful amenities to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as it is authentic. While we offer a true desert experience, we have not forgotten the small comforts that make a big difference.

The Communal Tent

The communal tent is the heart of our camp—a space to relax, converse, and connect. Here, you can enjoy sweet Bedouin tea, share stories with fellow travelers, and indulge in traditional Bedouin meals. We occasionally enjoy music and dance to bring the culture of Wadi Rum to life.

Inside, the tent features a spacious and cozy environment with broad benches, plush mattresses, and camel saddles for lounging. There are also tables and stools for meals, and a buffet with delicious dishes. The tent offers stunning panoramic views of the desert landscape, and when the weather cools, we light the fire pit to keep the tent warm and inviting.
